Sucker Creek, On

A quick drive to Sucker Creek with my friend Mike The Up North Fishing Guy. He brought his boat with a 9.9hp to do some trolling.

This maple tree caught my attention right away.

As vibrant of colour as the pigment in the leaves in the spring!

Although, it was an overcast day and we could see dark skies on our drive to. We were committed to get our lines in the water!

Mike was driving and off we went.

Long story short,

No bites in the little sweet spot.

Most likely because of the temperature, this picture doesn't do it justice...

My call, dark skies and the sound of thunder nearby. "I think it's time to head back to the dock."

As we started to head back I pulled out my grandpa's old Panasonic walkman and played an Alabama tape.

It really doesn't get better then this!
